Thrive Architect, our new visual editor that replaces Thrive Content Builder allows you to create just about any layout you can think off.
That's why in the first release, we did not include compound elements like pricing tables, CTA and guarantee boxes. These elements are basically just a group of other elements such as columns, boxes, text, images and lists.
But we do understand that it is easier to simply select a template rather than building one from scratch. That's why we're planning on bringing back these elements ASAP.
And because we know yesterday is better than tomorrow, we recreated all the existing elements ourselves so that you can simple save them as a content template and use them anywhere on your site in seconds.
Let me show you how.
This is the first "landing page from scratch" video featuring Thrive Architect, the new visual editor that will soon replace Thrive Content Builder.
Now that you know that there is no risk of ever losing your content with Thrive Architect, I hope you're getting really excited for all the new design possibilities...
In this video, you'll discover what it feels like to work with the new plugin and get an idea of the layouts and content you can create with the new plugin.
As a consultant, having a website that clearly communicates your unique offering is a must.
This new bonus template will allow you to use a good looking, conversion focused homepage for a service based business.
And if you don't feel like building the page form scratch, simply use the template that's available in Thrive Architect and start editing.
I'm sure you know those little yellow, red, blue and black building blocks... You've surely played with them as a child. But you've probably never managed to create something like the picture below.
Even though you "know" the blocks, you don't fully understand how they can form these complex statues but Nathan, the artist, can look at an existing statue and immediately see how he would build it with LEGO.
The same can be said about landing pages. You might have seen the different elements in the Thrive Content Builder sidebar but as long as you do not really understand how these elements work, you'll struggle to create landing pages that look exactly the way you want on desktop AND mobile.
The good news is that most of the elements and settings are easy to apprehend. There are only 3 elements and 3 settings that need some explaining in order to use them to their full potential and unlock any landing page layout. After watching this video you'll be able to look at any landing page and "see" how to build it yourself.
In today's landing page from scratch video, we're building the homepage for an upcoming live event in Bali.
The event is called the Digital Marketer Skill Share. At the time of our video recording, the business is in the phase of collecting leads: people can sign up to join the waiting list for the event. This is a very smart way to be able to start marketing the event, get sponsors and gauge interest before actually selling the tickets.
Even if you're not currently organizing an event, this landing page from scratch video is for you if:
Be honest. Do you REALLY know how a landing page can help your business?
Sure, it's a great weapon to have in your marketing arsenal. With resources like Thrive University, it's easy to find ways to become a better marketer using landing pages.
But... what if you're not a marketer?
What if you're a guitar teacher or dance instructor? Why should you care about landing pages in the first place?
These seem to be questions no one has bothered to answer before.
The truth is - you absolutely need landing pages, regardless of what your business is.
We're back with another landing page from scratch video!
One of the questions we've been asked regularly with these landing page from scratch videos is: "How about copyright?"
Our answer is always the same.
That's why this time around, we're going to take inspiration from two different landing pages and make one, 100% originally designed homepage.
Check out this video, because you're in for a treat!
By popular demand, we continue the landing page from scratch series and this time we'll create a visually stunning homepage.
As usual you'll see all the steps from start to finish and discover some insider tricks on how to use Thrive Content Builder like how to create a beautiful blog post grid that updates automatically (at 15:33).
In this video, we replicate the homepage from Craftsy, an online learning platform for handy crafts. Their homepage design reflects the creative vibe of the website by using full width images but is also highly conversion focused with highlighted promo codes, links to important content and an opt-in form.
This is exactly the type of homepage we like: original, good looking AND conversion focused. Check out the video to see how it's done.
It's time for another landing page from scratch video! As usual, you'll get to look over my shoulder as I create a landing page and comment on what techniques and elements I'm using as well as what we can learn from the design I'm replicating.
This time, the landing page that was suggested for the video is none other than Neil Patel's homepage.
We're continuing our "landing page from scratch" series due to (very) popular demand. This time around, we're looking at a landing page example from none other than Facebook - proving that even the Internet's giants need good landing pages.
Check out the video to see what tricks related to typography, "layered" effects and spacing you discover along the way.
