Using the Click to Tweet Element in Thrive Architect

Just as its name says, the “Click to Tweet” element is useful, if you want to give your users/visitors the possibility to tweet about your business, directly from your page.

Firstly, click on the “plus” sign in the right sidebar:

Then search for it in the list of available elements:

Once found, drag & drop it to your page where you best see fit:

The element will be then added to your page, and you can start customizing it from the “Main Options” available in the left sidebar:

State

At the very top of the sidebar options, you will see that you can customize the “Click to Tweet” element in various states. If you click on the “State” section, you will be able to choose between the “Normal” and “Hover” states:

This option is essential if you want the text of your element to have a different style (font type, size, color) or different background color when users hover their mouse over it.

The other “Click to Tweet” options are straightforward too.

Label Text & Tweet Text

If you wish, you can change the “Label Text”, as well as the “Tweet Text”. The main point is to write something that you think would encourage your visitors to tweet (Tweet Text) and it would be most suitable for them to tweet (Label Text):

Custom Share URL

Here you can enter a website URL that you would like to be displayed automatically inside the tweet. Moreover, you can type in your Twitter username in the “via” section, that you want to be displayed too:

Preview

After you are done with customizing your element, you can preview it right from the options, with the blue “Preview” button, or you are welcome to save the page and use the preview option from the bottom-left part of the page:

If you click on the element, just as a visitor would, you will be redirected to a page, where you will either have to sign up or log in to your Twitter account:

If you are already logged in, you will just need to click on the button to share your text, the URL, and the name that has been previously filled in.
