How to Use the Phone Shortcode

With Thrive, you can easily add a Phone button to your content to let people make contact with you. They can instantly call you on your phone by clicking on the button. Here is how to use this shortcode.

First, go to the Editor in your Dashboard and click on the ThriveShortcodes dropdown menu. Select the 'Phone' shortcode.

As you click on 'Phone', a new window will pop up with the following shortcode options:

1. Call to Action Text

Set a text you want to appear on the button (e.g. "Call me" ). This is what people will see when they read your post or page from their computer.

2. Mobile Call to Action Text

The text you add here will appear on the Phone button when your page or post is read from a mobile device.

3. Mobile Button Color

If read on mobile, the Phone button can have different colours. You can set the colour here. The button can only have default colour in computer mode.

4. Phone Number

Add your phone number here or a number you want your visitors to call by clicking on this button.

5. Insert

Click on 'Insert' when you are done with the settings. The Phone button will be added to your content and will be ready to click.

The Phone shortcode will look like this in the back end:
