What is the Difference Between Pressive Theme’s Light Logo and Dark Logo?
The Pressive Theme has a feature that cannot be encountered in other Thrive Themes. More exactly, we're talking about the light and the dark logo feature. It can be found by accessing the "Theme Options" element, found in the "Thrive Dashboard" item:
Once you have entered "Theme Options", you will be sent straight to "General Settings", and in this section, you will come across the light and dark logo, available if you want your logo to be displayed as an image, not as a text:
You can add a different image for each type of logo. In order to have an optimal display, we recommend you use images that have the .png extension and also have a transparent background. This feature can be used if you want a logo to be displayed on certain pages and another logo to be displayed on the other pages of your website. Below you can find out more about each type of logo.
When is your Light Logo Displayed?
The Light Logo will be displayed on your website only when you are choosing an image as the background of your title section. There are two ways in which you can set this up:
- If you choose to display it on all of your blog posts, you have to access "Blog Settings" from the "Theme Options" and set the "Image" option as the "Title Section Background". If you choose the "Color" option, the Light Logo will not be displayed:
- In case you want to display it only on an individual page or post, you have to access its "Display Options", which can be found in the "Edit" section of the page or post if you scroll down. Once you got there, you need to make sure that the "Featured Image" is set to appear "In the title section" and that the "Background Type" is set to "Image". The rest of the elements in the "Display Options" don't affect the display of your Light Logo:
When is your Dark Logo Displayed?
The Dark Logo will be displayed on your website only when you are choosing a certain color as your website's title section background. The same as in the case presented above, there are two ways in which you can set this up:
- If you want it to be shown on all of your blog posts, enter the "Blog Settings" and, instead of selecting the "Image" options, select a "Color" as your Title Section Background. You can choose any color you want:
- However, if you want to display it only on an individual page or post, you have to proceed as in the example presented above, accessing that page's/post's "Display Options". Once there, you need to make sure that the featured image is not displayed in the title section by selecting any other option from the "Featured Image" section. Also the "Background Type" has to be set to "Solid". You can, therefore, select any color you want, from the "Color" picker that we provide:
