Thrive Architect: From Beginner to Expert

  • I’m a little confused. When I click “Add New Page,” I’m shown a screen where I can “Choose a pattern.” I assume this is a WordPress thing because none of this looks like anything from ThriveThemes. However, when I click on the “X” on the top, right-hand corner of the “Choose a pattern” screen to close that page, then name my page (Test, in this case), click on “Save draft,” and then click on the “Launch Thrive Architect” button, I’m only given two page creation option: )(1) the option to create a Normal Page and (2) the option to create a Pre-Built Landing Page. I do not get the (a) Blank Page with Header and Footer or the (b) Completely Blank Page options. So, I’m kinda stuck right out of the box. Any ideas?

      • Hey, Tony. I figured it out. For some reason when I installed the ThriveSuite products, I failed to install Thrive Theme Builder. Once I did that, I was able to create pages as usual and had all 4 options to choose from. As to the “Choose a pattern” screen that popped up when I tried to add a page, that indeed is a WordPress feature, and it can be easily turned off by simply clicking on the checkbox in the bottom, left-hand corner of that particular screen. It’s all good now.
