Importing and Exporting Thrive Quiz Builder Quizzes

Do you want to export a quiz from one website and reuse it on another? This will give you a ready quiz for the second website and save time.

With Thrive Quiz Builder, you can import and export quizzes to be used on different websites.

This article will show how to import and export quizzes on your WordPress website.

Exporting a Quiz in Thrive Quiz Builder

To export an existing quiz from your website, open your WordPress admin area, navigate to Thrive Dashboard -> Thrive Quiz Builder, and click the Edit Quiz button on the quiz you want to export.

After you click Edit Quiz, you’ll be taken to a page where you can change the quiz type (except for the Survey Quiz), change the quiz style, manage questions, etc.

On this page, click the Export Quiz option on the top right.

After you click Export Quiz, a popup showing the process will appear. To cancel the export, click Cancel Export Process on this popup.

To download the exported quiz file, click the Download Export button on the popup.

Clicking the button will download the quiz as a .zip file on your computer.

Importing a Quiz with Thrive Quiz Builder

You can export a quiz created using the Thrive Quiz Builder and import one, too.

To import a quiz to your WordPress website, open your WordPress admin area and navigate to Thrive Dashboard -> Thrive Quiz Builder.

On the Thrive Quiz Builder dashboard, click the Import Quiz option on the top right.

After you click Import Quiz, a popup will appear where you can add the .zip file of an exported quiz.

After you add the .zip file, click the Import Quiz button on the popup.

Importing the quiz will open the imported quiz dashboard so you can make any required changes.
