Using the WooCommerce Widgets in the Thrive Theme Builder

Do you want to use WooCommerce widgets effectively with the Thrive Theme Builder on your website? Installing WooCommerce on a website with Thrive Theme Builder gives you access to more WooCommerce templates and widgets.

This article will show how to use WooCommerce widgets on your websites.

Note: Before we begin, please ensure you have WooCommerce and the Thrive Theme Builder installed and activated on your website. Our article will help you get started with them.

To access the WooCommerce widgets in a template built using Thrive Theme Builder, open your WordPress admin area, navigate to Thrive Theme Builder, and click the Manage Templates button.

On the Templates page, hover over the template you want to edit and click the Edit button.

Clicking Edit will open the template in the Thrive Theme Builder editor.

To add WooCommerce widgets in the template, click the plus (+) icon in the right column.

Once you click the plus icon, you’ll see a list of elements. If you scroll down, you will have a separate WooCommerce section in the list of elements when you have WooCommerce installed and activated on the website.

You can add widgets to your posts and pages to help you fully customize your online store.

  • Shop: Use the Shop element to display and customize the shop on page.
  • Product Categories: Display products on the page and sort them according to categories.
  • Mini Cart: Add a small cart icon to your template. This will show users the number of items they’ve added to their cart and a small preview of the products.
  • Cart Widget: Add a cart to let users see what they’ve added to the cart.
  • Product Categories Widget: This will allow you to add the categories of your products on a template.
  • Product Search Widget: This text widget is a search bar that you can place in your templates to allow users to look for a certain product.
  • Product Tag Cloud Widget: This will insert a list of the product tags in the template.
  • Product list Widget: This will list all your available products.
  • Recently Viewed Product List widget: This will list all the products that have been recently viewed.
  • Product by Rating Widget: This represents a list of your products, ordered by their rating.
  • Recent Product Reviews Widget: If you add this one, you will have a list of the recently reviewed products.

All these widgets can be customized using the options in the left column when you click the widget added to the template.

We’ve just seen how to access, add, and edit WooCommerce widgets in a template built using Thrive Theme Builder.
