How to Connect Thrive Leads to Ontraport
A frequently asked question is: does Thrive Leads support the Ontraport marketing automation system? The answer is: yes, it does! Here's a video that walks you through the setup process:
To connect Ontraport you first need to login to your account, after you logged in click your e-mail in the top right corner and select administration from the drop-down.
on the administration page locate the "INTEGRATIONS" sections and click "ONTRAPORT API Instructions and Key Manager".
On the API Keys page click "New API key" on this page you need to set the name of your key and select owner of the key, make sure you provide the necessary permissions to user.
Now you need to save your key, after you saved your key you will be redirected to your API key list, here you need the "APP ID" and the "APP Key".
Now that you have your "APP ID" and "APP Key" you need to head on over to your WordPress administration panel, click on Thrive Dashboard, press the Manage Connections button of the API connections card, add a new connection, select Ontraport from the "Select an app" drop-down after which you need to paste your App ID and API key and click on "Connect".
You will get a success massage if everything went ok. You can edit or remove this connection on the "API Manager" page.
Adding Autoresponders With thrive content builder
First you need to edit the page you want to add autoresponder form with TCB and add a lead generation component to your page.
Once you dragged and dropped a lead generation component on your page you need to click on it and select "connect with service".
After you clicked on "connect with service" you need to select a connection, you can do this by clicking on "Create a new connection".
Now you need to select from the dropdown between API and HTML Form Code. To use your API connections you need to select API and to simply paste in you generated form code you need to select "HTML Form code", in this tutorial we will show you how to use API connections.
Here in the first drop-down you select your desired service provider and in the second drop-down you select your mailing list, the mailing list will auto populate ones you select your service.
In the last step you need to configure your form.
After you click save you will see the form you just generated.
You can click on the form to enter in editing mode again.
