Do you want your students to upload their assessment files through Thrive Apprentice? This is possible with the Assessment feature introduced in version 5.8 of Thrive Apprentice.
You’ll need a destination where you’ll collect the submitted assessments.
Thrive Apprentice allows you to collect assessments in Google Drive or Dropbox.
Before you select one of these, you must build an API connection with the service you want to use.

After creating the connection, you can set the service to save submitted assessments.

Obtaining a Link to Your Google Drive Folder
You’ll first need to obtain the folder URL to set a Google Drive folder as the destination folder through Thrive Apprentice.
To obtain a link to a folder, create a folder in your Google Drive.
After creating the folder, click on the three dots on the folder name in your drive.
After clicking these three dots, you’ll see a popup where you click on Copy Link.

To select Google Drive as a destination for Assessment Uploads, open your WordPress admin area, and navigate to Thrive Dashboard >> Thrive Apprentice.
On the Thrive Apprentice home page, scroll down and click on Settings.
On the Settings page, click on Assessment Uploads in the left panel.
On the Assessment Uploads page, select Google Drive in the dropdown, and enter the Google Drive folder link in the given field.
The Filename field has some shortcodes that’ll be appended to the filename.
{course} is the course name
{assessment} will add the assessment name
{date} will add the date when the assessment is uploaded
{time} will add the time when the file is uploaded.
You can edit the filename by changing the order of shortcodes depending on how you want to set it.
After completing this form, click on SAVE.
The connection is now established, and all the assessments collected through Thrive Apprentice will be sent to this Google Drive Folder.
Selecting a Folder in Dropbox as the Destination to Collect Assessments
To select a Dropbox folder as a destination for Assessment Uploads, open your WordPress admin area, and navigate to Thrive Dashboard >> Thrive Apprentice.
On the Thrive Apprentice home page, scroll down and click on Settings.
On the Settings page, click on Assessment Uploads in the left panel.
On the Assessment Uploads page, select Dropbox in the dropdown, and click Choose from Dropbox link to select a Destination Folder.
The Choose from Dropbox link will take you to your Dropbox account, where you can select the Destination folder to save the received Assessments.
