Finally… New Name and Release Date Revealed for TCB 2.0

TCB 2.0 is the code name we've been using internally and externally when referring to the new version of Thrive Content Builder. But simply calling it 2.0 didn't feel right... The new visual editor is not just a new version of the same old plugin. It's a complete overhaul.

That's why we felt we needed a brand new name for this plugin!

And now, it's time to reveal this! But rather then directly telling you, let's make it fun and play a game.

Important Information: Your Questions Answered

Will current Thrive Content Builder customers get the new plugin for free?

YES! Sounds too good to be true? Wait til you see the new plugin! Despite the huge changes, we are treating the new plugin as an update to Thrive Content Builder, which means that EVERYBODY who now has Thrive Content Builder will get the new plugin for free. This includes Thrive Members, of course.

What will happen to the pages built with TCB? Will my previous design and layout stay in place?

The new Thrive Content Builder is backwards compatible. That means you can start using it and it won’t affect your previous content AND you can edit your TCB content with the new plugin.

Will it be possible to build [insert favorite layout here]?

Most likely, the answer is YES. We'll start releasing previews of what's possible with the new plugin very soon... stay on the lookout for those!

  • Ruth Coetzee says:

I just know its going to be a total gamechanger – can’t wait !!

  • Christopher says:

    Got it! I can’t wait!

    • Hanne says:

Glad you’re excited about this one Christopher!

  • Martin says:

Woohoo! A release date at last! Party in the insider’s forum!

    • iHustle says:

Lol, same thing I said Martin.

    • Hanne says:

I know :D I’m as happy as you guys to finally announce the date!

  • Didier lienard says:

Exciting game. Do we also need to guess the release date?

    • Hanne says:

As soon as you guess the name the date will be revealed :D

      • Harvey says:

I hope the game is not “no correct guess, no release” :)

      • Hanne says:

hahaha that would be cruel :D

  • Aquif Shaikh says:

Waiting eagerly for the new plugin. Hope, it adds more interesting features to the list.

    • Hanne says:

It will Aquif! Keep you eye open for the reveal videos ;-)

  • Kim says:

    OMG. Can’t wait!

  • Aleisha M says:

  • Lorenzo D says:

Wow. The way Shane was talking about it in the sneak peek video weeks ago, I didn’t expect you to release it so early. I guess a lot of people have been sweating more than usual this summer :) Great to hear, can’t wait. Does that mean Thrive Comments is also around the corner?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Hi Lorenzo,

Thrive Comments is coming along nicely, but we don’t know about a release date yet. Mostly because of scheduling and the release of other products. We’ll probably make it available to members pretty soon, though.

  • Ajay V says:

Is the new theme also coming on the same date?

    • Emil G says:

No, they will start developing new themes now when the new content builder is ready – correct me if I’m wrong.

      • Nat Green says:

I was hoping this would be the case as well. Fingers crossed the theme(s) won’t be too far behind!

    • Shane Melaugh says:

No. Like Emil correctly said, the release of the new editor marks the beginning of our work on the next theme.

However, there’s a big difference here. The editor was a gigantic rebuild project that took forever to be in a releasable and fully backwards compatible state. The new theme will start much smaller and grow over time. So, the total development time from day one of development to release date will be much shorter.

  • Lian A says:

Will I be able to create a word/phrase quiz like the one on top here?
    (Hang a man)?

    • Janice B says:

      Good point!

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Hello Lian,

No, this game isn’t a feature in the builder. This is a simple script that we found on Codepen. You can easily use this on your site, using the custom HTML element. :)

  • Naftalie H says:

Does the new content builder included WPML support? I hope so, this is needed by a lot of international working users!

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Sorry, we don’t have multi language support yet.

  • Bruno says:

Good name, and good date :-)

  • dalila says:

I guessed the name and got the date, but I would like to know what the features are. My heart is pounding. I can’t believe I’ve become a dork like this. LOL

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Thank you for your comment!

Feature previews will be coming soon. :)

  • Luis says:

    Let us see that bomb

  • Michael Bely says:

Let’s see how it will compare with other page builders on the market. Can’t wait to see it!

    • Hanne says:

Soon :) And we’re pretty confident about it ;-)

  • Tom Lyons says:

Very Excited, by the way the new podcast is great!

  • Linda says:

So exciting! and I loved the game! Is that done with a Thrive tool?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Hi Linda,

No, this isn’t a feature in the tool. We found this hangman game as a simple script on Codepen.

  • Marie-Theres T says:

one month to go! too long!

    • Hanne says:

I’m not sure our team agrees ;-)

      • Clive B says:

        30 day challenge :-)

  • Scott Stroud says:

That was fun! You guys are light years ahead in design and innovation – looking forward to the updates!

  • Mitchell W says:

Nice… Hope this brings new and improving features.

    • Hanne says:

      We believe it does Mitchell!

  • Damn, don’t remember last time I was so excite because of a piece of software!

    • Hanne says:

hahahah I know that feeling Alexandre!

  • Christelle P says:

    Yes ! I love the name ;-)
    I look forward…

  • Bandele S says:

Wow. I can’t wait. But seriously what on earth could be better than what you already have? Nice name by the way.

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Dude, it’s soooo much better! Wait til you see this thing. :D

  • Kamelia B says:

    Yesss, got the name right!

Can’t wait to see the new interface. Will there be any preview?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Yes, we will be releasing some preview videos in the coming weeks.

  • Leo Tat says:

Exciting. Please tell us exactly how to upgrade from our old TCB without accidentally deleting our previous content.

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Thank you for the suggestion, Leo. We’ll make it as easy as possible.

  • I am anxious

    • Hanne says:

      In a good way I hope Juan…

  • James says:

Will you be able to split test landing pages?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Not in the release version, but A/B testing is something we’ll focus on soon after the release.

  • Michiel says:

wow, awesome. Can’t wait! And I loved that guessing game :)

  • David says:

I have been looking at other visual editors for WordPress, because of the coding issues with TCB, biut I waited… I am very excited and hope this will be more than we all expect. Is there also a timeframe when the new theme comes out?

    • Hanne says:

      Hi David,
We’re working hard to go above and beyond so let’s hope it will be more than you expect :) As soon as the new plugin is out, we’ll start on themes.

  • Robin H says:

Oh wowie… will we still have to insert analytics tracking code into the pages created with … like we do with TCB, or will they automatically be replaced with the sitewide code inserted under ‘Theme Options’… that was always a pain, a necessary pain, but still a pain ;-)

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Good question. I will have to ask about the status on that. We have a fully documented plan for fixing this, but I’m not sure about the ETA.

    • Oh, GOD yeah… The “custom script” was a pain…

  • Adrien L says:

I found the name! I found the name! ^^
so excited to be …the day it launches!!!

    • Hanne says:

hihi great to see your excitement Adrien!

  • daniel says:

  • Mike B says:

  • Frustrated says:

I’m trying to make money. Games don’t allow for that. This is frustrating and irritating. I’m sure you think it’s funny and cute, but I really don’t.

Just say what’s going on and act like a business who respects its clients, please. Playing coy is juvenile.

    • Shane Melaugh says:

You have my personal guarantee that this game won’t prevent you from making any money. :)

I can understand your point of view, if you just want information. But whether we add this game or not won’t make the product release any sooner. And at Thrive Themes, part of the job of the marketing team is to test marketing related stuff. They have a mandate to always be experimenting and learning about how to increase conversions, get more leads, increase engagement and so on. That’s part of what we’re doing here and it’s how we can pass on valuable information to our customers and build useful features into our products.

Your sacrifice is not in vain.

      • Ian M says:

I live money too but I thought the game was kind of a cool idea actually :)

      • John A says:

Shane, I personally liked the game because it keeps me mentally active and alert. Unlike those who recognize it as Jeopardy, it took me a bit to figure out how it worked. I thought the name was “Visionary” until I got a letter right and it appeared. Clever game.
Thank you for including the “2.0” incarnation of Thrive Content Builder for everyone who already has TCB. Question for you about names: Why do you always refer to Thrive Content Builder in training and articles but it isn’t called that on your product name when looking to install TCB. Some of us are rather literal and hate guessing that Thrive Visual Editor is, in fact, Thrive Content Builder, which product I already like very much.

      • Mike C says:

I think your marketing team have a hit with this game. Not so hard it is frustrating, not so easy it’s pointless.

One of the main human motivators after fear and greed is curiosity. And too much marketing plays on fear and greed.

So, I’ll echo what other have said: Thrive Game Builder?
After all, we know gameification is one of the latest big things.

      • lee says:

Shane, I get what you say about experimenting with marketing, but making people guess is immature and not in keeping with the professional image I have of Thrive.

My sacrifice won’t be in vain; in fact, it won’t even exist.

    • Eric F says:

Someone needs a cup of tea, and a big calm-the-hell-down! Life is a mystery to be enjoyed, junior!

      • Corey K says:

I don’t know who you are Eric F., but I am hardly a ‘Junior’. Nor was my comment overly aggressive or angry.

I would suggest you have a cup of ‘mind your own business’. If I require your opinion I’ll ask for it. Hint: Don’t hold your breath waiting for that to happen.

        Shane, thank you.

      • AC C says:

I think you meant that for “lee”

      • Eric F says:

@Corey K……. You should re-read your post (and response)!! It does very much sound: 1) aggressive, 2) angry, and I’ll add a third 3) GREEDY! I have many more opinions I will share, no need to ask! Try: Peace! Joy! Happiness!

At my advanced age, everyone is Junior. My best wishes to you and yours in your endeavors. I do hope you’re successful, JUNIOR !!!

    • Robert says:

I understand its very stressful when in financial need.

Looking at it from another point of view you just experienced another tool for your business tool box. “Engaging your audience”

At first I had the immediate same thought as you did, but it was actually fun guessing the name. It kept me involved and interested in reading the comments.

More importantly I now am going to use this same type of game in the future on my own sites and offers because i just experienced the value of it.

      Be well :)

    • To Frustrated: What is frustrating? Having to wait for the update? The update will be out when it is ready. This is all a part of marketing. Perhaps you can choose to take some clues from Shane’s marketing and apply them to your own business since you really need to make some money. We all need to make money. But you will make a lot more money if you learn the psychology of marketing and what works. People love to play games and take quizzes, those people will become customers if you play your hand right.

  • Daniel W says:

Date plugged into the diary – looking forward to it.

    • Hanne says:

Big red cross on the calendar :D Thanks Daniel

  • Robert J says:

Is it possible to become an affiliate for the release/launch?

    • Hanne says:

We have an affiliate application process in place. You can apply there

  • Michael J says:

Thrive Architect. Nice name. Very suitable. Looking forward to it.

  • Enstine Muki says:

O wow I got the name hahaha

  • Janice B says:

Yay! Got it with 4 lives remaining, phew! Great game, love it! Looking forward to its release :)

  • Antonio B says:

    It’s great… I can’t wait…

  • Johnny says:

AWESOME! Can’t wait. Come on, tease me a little… :)

  • Troy C says:

    Super excited to see it!

  • Haha nail bitting suspense… I love it.
I’m so looking forward to using it!

  • On one hand, looking forward to it; on the other, worried about breaks, as we had to do a lot of manipulations to get the site to do what we wanted.

  • Glyn says:

Awesome! Excited to see what you guys have come up with :-)

  • Lamont P says:

How did you do the word game? Very engaging.

    • Hanne says:

It’s a custom HTML element with code we found and adapted a bit from codepen.

  • John E says:

Got it! This is exciting. I can’t wait! :-)

  • Randy Cavanaugh says:

Awesome! The suspense was killing me. Now, about the new theme rls date? :) PS – the “Wheel of Fortune” quiz was pretty cool too… is that doable in Thrive quiz builder?

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Randy,

We’ll start working on themes after this release again.
The game can not be done with TQB it’s simply code I found on codepen and plugged in the post with a custom HTML element.

  • Elaine says:

Pretty cool Congrats!! Looking forward to using the new Tool!!! I guessed it in 5 letters (I used NO hints!) and woo hoo great name great choice!

  • Giovanni Cerri says:

Thanks a lot to Shane and the staff for making the new version as a free TCB update. I was sweating cold, actually.

  • Kim Morrison says:

Love the guessing game! Great fun!!

  • Vimlaksh says:

You guys are real architects of WordPress plugins ;) Can’t wait to get my hands on the new version.

  • Fiona says:

Excited to see this newest update/extension/addition to my Thrive Themes experience.

  • Randy M says:

Good name. Clever game. That was fun.

  • Sebastian says:

Will Membership customers get early access? :)

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Yes. :)

      Not very early, but early.

  • David H says:

Love the gamify module. Will that functionality be in the new TCB 2.0?
(PS. I did guess the name – just don’t want to give it away.)

    • Hanne says:

      Hi David,

No this is just a bit of code we found on codepen. You can do the same with the custom HTML element :)

  • Bharat says:

I don’t use TCB but it would be good to see what’s new in version 2, and perhaps the feature set may convince me to use it, but have a great launch. I’m sure it’ll be amazing if it’s anything like the quality of Thrive Leads.

  • Jay says:

Got chills when the name was revealed.

  • I am nervously awaiting the new builder. I’ve been using the old builder on over 30 sites and am anxious about bugs during a transition…

  • This is awesome news, Hanne and Shane! Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

  • Ryan S says:

Very excited and I can NOT wait. Incidentally, will I still be obliged to disable Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader in order to use the builder?

  • LaTosha J says:

I love the current plugin, so I can only imagine what awesome features will be included with the update. Can’t wait! :)

  • Megan says:

Really looking forward to this update!

  • Don W says:

Got the name with only 1 wrong letter! Anyone beat that?

  • Zoe t says:

Thankful for this news. Was just installing Beaver Builder and planning to say good bye to Thrive because I need more (and simple) colour control. Very excited!

    • Hanne says:

I’m pretty sure we’ve got that covered now :)

  • Peter Kelly says:

This sounds great as always from SwissMarketing

  • Hahaha! You guys are so awesome! Great job, as you do constantly!

  • brian says:

you guys are great!!! So glad I found you long ago.

  • I can’t wait! Shane Melaugh only creates beautiful, efficient, user-friendly plugins, and pretty much in everything else he does. This gentlemen is tidy, organized, on task … that is simply his nature and we greatly benefit from all of his abilities.

I can related to him as to his personality. Honestly was I will say with transparency, my clients praise me for my loyalty to them, my sincerity and doing this right, giving them aesthetic and simplicity. However…hahaha… for people in my circle of friends…oh Lord, sometimes… they find me picky, impatient, intense, hard to please… basically, a little pain in the behind…. but at the end everybody love each other. Bless us, picky people we do it to ourselves too…

Welcome to the new content builder named _____________. I found it. Did you?

  • Martin says:

Not too long to wait, but long enough :)
Interested to see functionality and update(s). Thrive have continually given reason to remain an avid customer and fan of the product(s), so looking forward to see what is delivered.

  • Michael Estevez says:

I am beyond excited! You guys truly go above and beyond.

  • Peter says:

Lets see how you guys stack up against Elementor!

    • Jeff Berry says:

peter.rushkin The Theme to beat is Divi. It is stunningly beautiful, however a little slow, and lacks a lot of marketing features. They just added 8 new devs, but am not sure in what direction they are going. I Thrive can emulate (copy and be better than) Divi, Thrive will be #1.

      • Hanne says:

We’re not in the business to copy Jeff ;-) But we’ll definitely are trying to do (way) better than the competition!

  • Dylan H says:

    Super excited!!!

  • Bartosz says:

Really thrilled! I am sure it will be amazing like all your other products!

  • Well “PLAYED”.
Love you guys and love your work.
Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I’ve built my online presence on the back of your incredibly intuitive and innovative products.
    Keep up the great work!

  • Steve Williams says:

Cool name. Looking forward into it!

  • Donna Woolam says:

Love all things Thrive! Know this will be incredible.

  • Patrick says:

Got it with 9 lives remaining.

I saw the comment about not liking games by someone. I can tell you that most people enjoy it. I ran a 50%/50% game on a site a long time ago with a plugin that doesn’t work now. People loved it.

  • Celeste says:

Wonderful! Admittedly, when I first saw the email, I was really nervous because I just recently got my website (which consists of ALL landing pages built with TCB) to look absolutely beautiful and function exactly the way I need. It’s now getting much more traffic and conversions! But I DO trust that all will be well and the new version will not cause any disruptions or changes. Looking forward to it!

  • Jerry Huang says:

Is AMP integration included? Because TCB doesn’t work with AMP plugin. I remember asking in support and they say will probably in TCB 2.0.

I’m also looking forward to the options which we can customize the content/code for each screen width – desktop, tablet and mobile. I hope that is included as well.

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Jerry,

AMP will not be in the first release. Customizing content for different screen width is :)

      • Jerry Huang says:

Ok thanks. So do you mean AMP will be in the future release? I hope to see AMP integration soon.

  • Bruce says:

such a long time to wait! Sigh…

    • Hanne says:

I’m pretty sure our dev team disagrees with you on that ;-)

  • Henrik says:

Great news, but man would I love to get my hands on thrive comments. Hope it will be released before thrive a…….. :-)

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Henrik,
Can’t promise that… We’re making good progress but it’s more of a calendar problem :)

  • Harvey says:

Great name as that what I will feel like when using it, I’m sure!

  • Jasper S says:

Release date is too far! Excited nonetheless.

  • Emil G says:

That’s great news! I love Thrive Themes and as a non-techie person use it on all my sites.

    Good luck with your launch!

  • Ceci T says:

    Perfect name!

  • David Moran says:

Had content builder a long time now have three sites built with it. Very glad I bought it in the first place.

  • Steve says:

Love the name, it promises much

  • Jay P says:

I have to say, at first I was worried, and feverishly scrolling through the Q/A , but now, knowing it’s treated as an update, it’s backwards compatible, and no major worries of that nature, I’m only 100% excited :)

  • andrew zubriczky says:

Will it give Elementor a run for its money?

  • DaveC says:

sounds awesome…looking forward to constructing my first pages…

  • John Snippe says:

Excellent!! As others said: wasn’t expecting it so soon!

  • Adam B says:

wow, this is going to be amazing. will gamification features like the one above be featured in the new release?

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Adam,
No, but you do not have to wait for a feature. This game was simply done with some code found on codepen and a custom HTML element (I’m by no means a coder and implemented this all by myself ;-) )

  • Julian S says:

  • Michael says:

Love the hangman game. Will this be a Thrive Architect feature?

  • Suzanne S says:

Cool name! Cannot wait to see it and start using it!

  • Arturo says:

Woo!!! Super !! Es una gran noticia ! Me he mantenido fiel a ustedes por la calidad de sus productos y toda la información de valor que están entregando. Los Felicito y quedo pendiente y emocionado. GRACIAS.

  • Nat Green says:

Awesome. I can’t wait! I love TCB (aside from the few tiny bugs here and there) and I’m confident (insert new name here) will be even better!

  • Elizabeth R says:

Love what this team is doing to help bloggers with their blogging experiences. I am looking forward to learning how to use the entire program.

  • Betsy M says:

My heart sank when I first read that Thrive Content Builder was going away!! I love it as it is so I can’t wait to see the new version. I do hope, however, that the learning curve isn’t too steep. I’ve gotten quite comfortable with the old version :)

    • Shane Melaugh says:

It will take a little re-learning, I can’t lie. But from what I’ve seen, after a short getting-used-to period, you’ll be much faster with the new builder than with the old one. So you’ll make up the learning time very quickly.

  • Karen R says:

How exciting! So if I was to be building a new site, shall I hold off on the site launch until after 8/29?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

We’re never going to advocate waiting. Launch now, not later. :)

  • Quentin P says:

Backwards compatibility is HUGE. I take my virtual hat off to your programming team. When a company looks after its customers the way you do, it deserves to be, and stay, in business. Thanks to everyone in the Thrive Team.

    • Shane Melaugh says:

I can’t emphasize this enough. Our development team took on a seemingly impossible task and an absolute mountain of work, when they set out to build this and make it backwards compatible. It’s a real accomplishment.

      • Ken Taylor says:

Shane, I can’t even begin to imagine the insane amount of work you and your team had to do to make it both better and backward compatible. Boggles my mind.

Clever way of introducing this new plugin. It’s custom where I live to show thanks and deep appreciation with a bow… m(_ _)m

  • I can’t wait! This is so exciting! And I guessed the name correctly on the first try:)

  • Mark says:

    Looking forward! :D

  • Ray L says:

Nice to know when It will be released ;)

Can’t wait for this improved (new build) builder.

  • Aaron says:

Is it weird that I’m equally excited to have gotten the name without losing a life?

    • Hanne says:

Hahahahha crazy how our mind works, right Aaron? :D

  • George says:

    What’s the cost look like?

    • Hanne says:

      Hi George,

This will be a free update for current customers and a paid plugin for new customers at the same pricing as the current content builder.

  • Andrew says:

Can’t wait for this release, I am going to do a full overhaul of one of my sites with this new builder to add dynamic and more engaging content. Love your products keep up the good work guys!!!

There are a lot of good page builders on the market now. As such, that makes me VERY excited about the launch of Thrive(A——–). Reason being… Thrive has built their business on humiliating the competition. Whatever is released, it will be WAY better than all the good stuff from competitors already out there. I’m salivating :)

  • Ken Germann says:

Will the new content builder be part of our membership or a paid upgrade?

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Ken,

All current customers (single customers AND members) will get the free update.

  • Bill Cobb says:

Thank you! The one thing TCB 2.0, or whatever it’s called, must accomplish is to drastically utilize LESS hosting resources than the current version of the plugin. Currently, TCB is a resource hog and I’ve sent you screenshots showing this. Again, Thank you.

  • Dennis says:

Nice! I just hope for two things.

    1) Have the extra requests for fonts etc to a minimum or possibility to turn them of, since the theme loads these and will bring extra requests, thus slowing the website down. (Check Google PSI, since Thrive is conversion focussed, speed has to be a priority)

    2) Integration possibilities for advanced custom fields. Being able to add there fields from the content builder, via a widget or shortcode, would be awesome. It’s possible in Visual Composer with an added extension. But this would be a great addition to the plugin.

  • ASwirlGirl says:

I got it! Woot! Looking forward to the new design.

  • Peter says:

    Bring it on!!

  • Alica says:

    Great ! Great!

  • Sunil K says:

It’s good that you will give the new release to your current Thrive Content Builder customers for free !

This was not the case for your………”Viral Quiz Builder”, I had to pay again for “Thrive Quiz”.

  • a a says:

I like Thrive Content Builder, but I really hate to don’t see the elemnt style before to insert, I hope this upgrade will be the perfect way.

  • Sara F says:

You are the best. You have such a lovely voice and easy welcoming approach in all your videos. I am determined to learn how to create and operate my website even though it seems like trying to get to the moon on a broomstick! But you make me think I can do it!

Got it . Looking forward to the date

  • KarenKat says:

Very Exciting! Does it have added “hacker” repellant?

  • Nassim says:

Looks amazing. Cant wait to see the new plugin!

  • Lars says:

I hope the import/export of pages feature will become more comfortable (DIVI is the benchmark here) and ideally the admin will be able to 1-click-clone even pages built with the new builder, even it is not a Thrive theme.

Will old TCB pages be editable with the new builder with all new features or can the legacy features be edited only?

  • Anil says:

Yesssss….i got it with 8 lives remaining…fantastic name…can’t wait. You all rock!

  • Jesus Perez says:

  • Coach Khayr says:

Hanne, it’s the 29th. Where is it? And is there a tutorial somewhere?

  • wes thomas says:

Not surprised — you are always on top of the game

  • Kathie says:

Are we counting how many sleeps yet…. can’t wait!

  • Steven G says:

Mad!! Cant wait… I’m so in Love with Thrive!

  • Matt F says:

As always, I’m totally looking forward the release. My audience and clients will be please – I know.

  • Alena Powell says:

This is great and I pray that we will be able to make separate changes to the mobile layout apart from the desktop version :)

  • Hanka says:

What a great news from you guys! Thank you! :)

  • Lars says:

will the new builder also include an internal / built-in split test feature? That would be great and even set you more appart from other builders. If not, maybe you want to consider this as a potential partner or buy/license their technology:

I am currently testing this, but if in a month you come up with such a feature I might reconsider buying it for just 4 weeks.

  • Wow, you didn’t have to launch this on my birthday … I’m flattered. ;)

Did you do that just for little ole me??

  • John H says:

    Awesome super excited for this….

  • Keno says:

Hey There! Thanks for the great news. How can I create such a cool hangman game ? I want that for my website too!;)

    Thank you!

  • Avi says:

Hi I notice that when having yoest plug in and using the theme building you caned use certain feature in yoest anyway to fix this so we can use yoest

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Avi,
With the latest TCB/Yoast those issues should have been resolved.

  • Sd says:

Online course& membership site for paid and free courses??

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Sean,
We recently release Thrive Apprentice (to members only but very soon to the public) which allows you to create an online course environment.
It’s not a membership plugin though (nor is the new content builder).

  • Priscilla P says:

WooHoo! Cannot wait, Shane! Super excited!

  • Razz Khan says:

    Looking forward to it

  • I’m waiting for the release date. That’s very wonderful. I love you very much.

    This plugin looks great!
    Can’t wait to try it.

  • weafsd says:

  • John Naismith says:

Just want to say that treating this as a free update for members is amazing.

Thrive Themes membership is the best value for money monthly expense by far.

  • Per Mazarino says:

    To easy But nice

  • Adrian B says:

Really looking forward to this. So pleased I’ve stuck with Thrive Themes since the outset.

  • Joanna says:

I was just about to buyThrive Content Builder. Should I wait? I dont want to spend time learning it only to have to learn something new a few weeks later. Or should I buy it now so that I hook in to the current price and get the new upgrade for free? How different will the two be in terms of learning how to use them. Will it be an easy switch?

  • hetopcat02 says:

Will there be more landing page templates included, that replicate some of the more high converting templates in the industry?, has the update got anything to do with html5?

    • Hanne says:

We will start releasing new landing pages after releasing the new plugin.
Not sure what you mean with “high converting templates in the industry” because honestly there is no such thing (despite what other companies would like you to think).
Landing page conversions will always depend on your industry, the traffic source and much more.

  • Ed says:

Yippie! Thanks for letting us know.

  • Joan Bell says:

terrific name choice, can’t wait. You guys rock!

  • Teresa Kelly-Tagas says:

Looking forward to the easy process! Thanks for a great product.

  • Carlos says:

I am so excited as well to know when finally the new content builder plugin will be released!! I am sure that our new plugin will help us to build better sites and landing pages with higher conversions!! I wait for the realese date!

  • Theresa says:

So excited to see how you made an already wonderful theme even better!

  • awesome
    YES! thank you.

  • Johan says:

    I just can’t want!

  • Anticipation level is high, as I have three new client projects starting in September! Can you reveal whether we will be able to more easily customize the mobile view (ESPECIALLY for Squared), and will there be any new themes rolled out with the launch? Thanks!

  • stephan Z says:

    Love you guys <3

    • Shane Melaugh says:

We love you too, Stephan. :D

  • Michael Boone says:

I didn’t scan every question and I’m sure that it was already asked, but will it come with its own tutorials?

    • Shane Melaugh says:

Yes, we are working on updating all the tutorials we have for TCB, to Thrive Architect tutorials.

  • Benny says:

OK so we installed the Architect update on our site built with TCB and it has messed up some elements on our site, like buttons, which are now hidden behind images instead of floating over them. Clearly not 100% backwards compatible. Time to revert back to older version of site and de-install Architect. :/

    • Shane Melaugh says:

      Hello Benny,

Sorry to hear that the transition didn’t go well for you. If you haven’t already, please report your issues in the support forum. We’ve made a release with fixes yesterday and will make at least one more this week, to address issues our users have reported.

  • Chrisima says:

I am totally New here and I kind of starting liking it. And I saw themes from here and I am telling you i am liking it too much and already bought one.. which i am customizing right now. Hope it will be ready in a week. Thanks guys and keep the good things coming

  • Nice I am great fond of Thrive and using almost of my website, keep it up

  • Stephen Vanderver says:

There is no “Thrive Content Builder” plugin available in the dashboard. In Shane’s tutorial video, he specifically states that this is a necessary plugin. Please advise next step. Thank you!

    • Hanne says:

      Hi Stephan,

Thrive Content Builder got replaced by Thrive Architect (about a year ago).
Simply download Thrive Architect and you’re good to go
