How to update the plugin

In the plugins area of your WordPress dashboard, you should look for the Thrive Visual Editor row and hit the "Check for Updates" link:

Then you can simply follow the auto-update procedure on the screen.  The plugin will be automatically downloaded and you'll have a load of new features to build awesome pages with!

Doing a Hard Refresh when You Update your Plugin

The Content Builder can sometimes "remember" previous versions of the plugin, even though you've updated to a newer version.  This means that in some cases - you may install a newer version of the plugin, but not receive any of the new features / fixes.

To make sure this doesn't happen, I recommend doing what's called a hard refresh.  After you've updated the plugin, navigate to a post you want to edit and load the editor.  Then hold down ctrl + f5 if you're on a PC, or Command + Shift + R if you're using a mac.  A "non-cached" version of the editor will load.  I tend to do this twice in a row, just to make sure.
