About Chipo
Writer | Marketer | WP Nerd
Chipo’s been a writer for as long as she can remember. From stealing time in her Dad’s office to use his PC to write stories on magical lands, talking chipmunks, and growing up… to creating her first blog on WordPress in 2013 – Mind My Mind…
A Love for WordPress
One thing remained consistent: her love for WordPress and the freedom it afforded her to put her thoughts on (digital) paper. When she discovered page builders in 2019, this love turned into near-devotion. Seriously, she loves WordPress that much.
Now, she’s a content writer at Thrive Themes, helping WordPress users learn how to build blogs and business websites with ease.
Her writing is infused with personal experience from her 7+ years of marketing and 10+ years in the website-building space.
She knows what it’s like to buy themes that promised perfection… and heavily underdelivered.
She’s pulled her hair out multiple times because of custom CSS and trying to figure out HTML…And she’s used Thrive Themes products to build her site (presently under construction again)...
So, she gets it. And she gets you.
Left to her own choice, Chipo loves to write about:
Educational and Professional Experience:
Chipo’s worked as an online content writer and content marketer for the last 7 years.
She has a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts & Visual Communication Design, and a Masters in Marketing Management.
Her freelance career started in the third year of her undergrad degree, working as a ghostwriter for authors who had the ideas but needed writing expertise, and C-Suite executives who needed a speech writer to create compelling speeches for major events.
She found her footing when she started working as a Marketing Assistant for solopreneurs who had big ideas and needed help turning them into reality. And now, she’s at Thrive Themes, giving you the key tips you need to turn your plans into a successful business. So, when you visit the blog know that you aren’t reading off-the-mill content that was made to take up space. You’re reading tried-and-tested strategies that worked before, still work now, and will work for you.
