How to Sell Online Courses with Thrive Apprentice & WooCommerce

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to install the WooCommerce plugin and create WooCommerce pages.

WooCommerce is available in the WordPress plugin library.

After installing it, you may be prompted to complete several forms, however, you can safely skip them. You can always return to your WooCommerce settings to input that information.

If it’s your first time installing WooCommerce, WooCommerce should create your Shop, Cart, Checkout, and My Account pages for you. However, we’ll guide you through creating those pages just the same.

In WordPress, go to Pages >> Add New. Then, name your page as appropriate and save it. There’s no need to customize or design them at this point, as customization will be handled by Thrive Theme Builder.

Easy, right?

You’ll need to create the following pages:

  • Cart page
  • Checkout page
  • My Account page

For this tutorial, we won’t need a Shop page, so you can safely omit it. However, if you would like to create an e-commerce shop (reminiscent of a typical online store), then you should create a Shop page as well.

Let’s move on to the next lesson!
