Thrive Content Builder and Thrive Landing pages have been replaced by Thrive Architect, which now has 320 pre-designed page templates and you can preview them all in our landing pages gallery.

We are thrilled to present the first major update to the Thrive Landing Pages available in the Content Builder.

Watch the video to get a peek at some of the new conversion-optimized templates we've added and a look at what to expect in upcoming releases.

Easy Way to Customize Your Theme

We've made it a point to make both our themes and any Content Builder or Landing Page content you create flexible and easy to customize. But sometimes, you might want to make a change to your theme that you can't find a customizer option for. This is where our custom CSS fields come in.

Watch the video below to see an easy way to tweak and change specific elements on your website, using custom CSS. Don't worry, it's not as complicated as you think:

Say Goodbye to Related Posts Plugins

A good way of keeping visitors engaged on your site for longer and lowering your bounce rate is to add a list or gallery of related posts to the bottom of each blog post. After all, if a someone's just read a post, you can be pretty sure they're interested in more posts on a similar topic.

Watch the video below to see how the Thrive Themes team have taken the "related posts" concept and made it better:

A Page and its Purpose: When to Use Landing Pages and When to Use Themes

Thrive Content Builder and Thrive Landing pages have been replaced by Thrive Architect, which now has 271 pre-designed page templates and you can preview them all in our landing pages gallery.

With our new Landing Pages feature, it's easier than ever to create conversion optimized pages... which might lead to the question: do you even need a theme anymore (especially considering that we'll continue adding new page templates for different purposes)?

In this post, you'll discover the difference between landing pages and theme pages, so you'll know exactly when to use which, for the best results.

Cloning Posts & Pages with 1 Click

Since day one, Thrive Themes have featured a great time-saving addition that you might have missed up until now. The feature in question is one click cloning.

In this post, you'll discover how the feature works and see some examples of how you can use it to your advantage.

Note: the feature shown here is a theme feature. It is only available when you have a Thrive Theme installed. If you use Thrive Architect or other plugins made by Thrive Themes, but a different theme, you won't see the "clone" link as shown below.

Rock Social Media Like the Pros

One of the most exciting features we added to a recent theme update gives you more control over how your content is shared on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest. You can now easily add custom social media markup to your posts and pages and use it to your advantage to get more social shares and traffic.

Check out the video tour below to see how this feature works and how best to make use of it:

Thrive Lightbox & the Event Manager

In our latest release, we've practically doubled the value of what you get with our Content Builder plugin, by adding the Landing Pages feature set. Included among the new features are the Thrive Lightbox and Event Manager.

Here's a quick video tour that shows you just some of the things you can do with these new features:

As you can see, you can use this to build your mailing list with 2-step opt-in forms, create better tutorial pages with video lightboxes or even draw attention to certain page elements by animating them into view. We hope you enjoy these new features and can’t wait to see the creative ways in which you’ll be using them!

Update! – The Thrive Content Builder plugin, also presented in the video above, has been updated, along with a few of the features presented in the video.

For example, the “Autoresponder Code” button from the “Lead Generation options” window has been changed to the “Connect to Service” button, through which you can also set up your API Connection, apart from inserting the HTML code:

Apart from this, other minor changes may be encountered. These changes consist in the plugin’s design modifications and in displacing certain buttons, such as the “Event Manager” button from the “Button menu”.

Luxe Theme Facelift

The second Thrive Theme ever to be released was Luxe, a gorgeous looking blogging and multi-purpose theme. Because of how early in the Thrive timeline it was released, there were a few small inconsistencies between this theme and our other themes. We set out to fix them and while we were at it, we also brushed up some designs to give it an even more polished look.

Take a look at the quick video tour below to see the changes we made:

How NOT to Use Progress Bars & Counters

This post is a public service announcement. We must stop the widespread abuse of progress bars and animated counters and only YOU can make a difference!

We recently introduced progress bars, animated counters and fill counters as new design elements (short codes) in all our themes. These elements can be useful additions to a conversion-focused website, but they can also be horribly mis-used. In fact, I have so far almost exclusively seen really, really bad examples of how to implement these elements on sites and landing pages.
