  • I’m a huge fan of what you guys are doing at Thrive. You have made a huge difference in my business. Just wanted you to know that I appreciate you. Have a great day.

  • Love it! I have built all of my website development around your themes and plugins. They are just that good!

  • This is a great feature, but that would be greater if we would have the possibility to save your own Custom Landing Pages in Thrive Template Cloud too.

  • This is a really great new part for make the thrive themes better and better. Great job what your team here creates for us. This kind of weekly evolution is why i love the thrive themes.

  • Shane, once again this is fantastic work. The video was very easy to understand and I love the concept.

On this page itself you have a slide in that prompts the user to make a purchase with a countdown timer. How do we create that in thrive themes?

  • Absolutely fantastic. Shane, my compliments to your team. You don’t just set a high bar, you keep raising it! I’m delighted to be a part of the Thrive community.

  • Love it! I can’t wait for more Templates. Really, with an Agency license there is no reason to ever buy a third party plug-in, as you will probably introduce that feature soon anyway, if it is not already there.

Thanks for continuing to add MASSIVE value to your Agency license holders!

    • That’s exactly what we aim to do, yes. At least, as far as any features that have an actual conversion purpose are concerned.

  • You guys just get better and better. I always love the value you give. Thank you so much. I always feel that I get more value than I spend with you. Never regretted a single penny spent with you.

    • Thank you, Monte! That’s what we aim to do with all our updates and products and it’s great to get positive feedback like this. Much appreciated!

  • I like it, now only space is used from templates we use, also great for hosting that don’t allow much space.

Will new installs of Thrive Landing Pages have all templates under the cloud, or will both new and old installs only have the templates released from now on showing on the Thrive Template Cloud tab?

    • Hi Kim,

The pre-installed templates will remain, but all new templates will be added to the cloud, from now on.

  • Hi Shane…great new feature!

    A little OT question…

What theme are you guys using here?

Is it included in Thrive themes?

    • Thank you, Umberto!

The theme here is Ignition, but we’ve heavily customized and modified it, over time.

    • Hi Chris,

Not sure what you mean. The page seems to be working fine. Can you try to do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) to see if it loads correctly after that?

  • Hi Shane, I continue to be amazed by the value your products provide to me as a new and aspiring author-peneur. The ThriveThemes Content Builder has been instrumental in getting me up and running quickly, efficiently, and painlessly!

This new video and cloud content provides even greater flexibility and more options to explore in an effort to make the experience for potential customers at my site consistent and engaging. Thank you!

With that being said, I do have a question 🙂 In the video, when utilizing the two step form, your click reveals a beautifully crafted Lightbox. Is there a template for this, or was it custom built?

I did try to manage a few of my current Lightboxes, but there didn’t seem to be any templates for these as there were for landing pages.

Thanks again for your help and wonderful set of products. I came across your company by chance, and I couldn’t be happier that I did!

    • Thank you for your comment and feedback, Dave! I’m very happy to hear that our tools have been so helpful for you.

The lightbox shown in the video is the template that comes with the StoryTeller landing page. When you load this template, you can click on the button, click on “Event Manager” and from there you can edit this lightbox and adapt it for your own purposes.

  • Thank you for sharing Shane! You and your team are creating some great tools to help us get our messages out to people and hopefully make some money and help others along the way.

    Mark

  • Always love the new features, Shane! Do you ever worry that all these optins and sales pages are getting too forumlaic and people are just getting bored of them now because everyone is using the same icons, the same page layouts, the 1-page long form sales page etc.? What’s the next big thing? What can we do to stand out in a world of optin pages? 🙂

    • Hi Tim,

There’s no indication that these kinds of pages are losing effectiveness. Remember that the long form sales page has been around since long before the Internet and the basics of what made it work back then still make it work now.

Marketers love to talk about “the next big thing” (hint: it’s the thing they’re about to sell you), but really, the fundamentals rarely change. Details of design do change over time, but not the basics of what makes people buy.

  • So when would you use cloud templates vs the Std template library in TT?
and will you be transitioning & removing the Std templates over to the cloud platform?

    • We’ll simply be adding new templates to the cloud, from now on. The existing, pre-installed templates won’t be affected.

  • How cool is this! Love the cloud template feature – and especially love that new video sales storyteller template and the ability to edit the sharing buttons. Beautiful. Thank you Shane.

  • Thanks Shane 🙂

I absolutely love what you guys are doing and this is yet another way you’re taking it up a notch and making it easy for small business owners to get unstuck with their marketing and get on with things.

    Legend!

  • I like the share option within the download page allowing us to use whatever link we’d like to foster sign ups. Very powerful device! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this option on any other download page for other service providers I work with. If I have, it’s infrequent. Just one more way you guys rock!

    • Thank you for your comment and encouraging feedback, Ken! The custom URL for the share buttons is indeed a powerful feature.

  • Hi Shane

Simply brilliant. I am in the process of completely rebuilding my small site, transferring it from OptimizePress to Thrive. And let me tell you, it has been nothing short of a pleasurable experience. I’m enjoying the properly mobile optimised content, along with the wonderful Thrive plugins that have allowed me to really ‘trim the fat’ as far as additional plugins were required.

I was a classic case of ‘theme plus >50 additional plugins’, but now I have that down to <10 additional plugins, with most of them being lightweight menu and social plugins, so thanks indeed for that.

Thanks also for producing tremendous videos with clear and concise explanations of everything you and the team do, most appreciated.

I did have one question: is there an uber-manual for Thrive? If not, has this been discussed internally at all? As a recent yearly subscriber, it is a little confusing to work out which of your technologies are best used, as I can see certain items have been replaced with better more advanced versions within the plugins. Would be great to at least have a bullet/ticklist of todays recommended solutions, and perhaps what they have replaced?

Anyways, again really impressed with what you and the team have achieved, and I am absolutely certain I'll be around for many years to come!

    • Hi Paul,

      Thank you for your comment!

I’m thrilled to see that you’ve gotten so much out of our products already and that the move has been a positive experience for you. This is exactly the kind of thing we work for. 🙂

Concerning the uber-manual: we’re aware that one of the problems is the constant release of new features and having to “keep up” with it all. We have been discussing solutions for this and while we don’t have anything to present yet, I can assure you that it’s something we’re working on.

  • Shane,

You guys are adding so many amazing features, I can’t keep up!

Have you looked at adding Bryan Harris’s “Upside-down Home Page” as a template? Looks interesting (and effective) and would fit nicely with your beautiful design elements.

You could build it as a guided template like you’ve done before with a “Here is what goes in this element” to walk us through!

    Keep up the awesome work…

    Tommy Sikes

  • great stuff, as always – but one maybe small but important thing for me I´m still missing: sharing by email.

I think it´s a small but good invest for you to implement just a button which opens the user´s mail programm and put in the link (mailto function, maybe with the possibility to change the link).
I do not have to mention explicitely, that a social sharing dashboard would be a great tool for me 😉
want to get an idea…see my current free plugin I use (social share by supsystic).

Thx for your straight forwarding kind of work…love it

    • Hello Volker,

      Thanks for your comment!

A social sharing dashboard is something that we have an extensive document on. So, while it’s not in production yet, it’s definitely in the pipeline.

  • I’d seen some amazing templates pop up in the cloud the other day, then they disappeared. I’m excited for you guys to start putting more of these out soon 🙂

  • One thing I WISH we could do W/Thrive Leads, is have the designs you guys have with these landing pages in our own light boxes.

For example: That pop up you have on the 2-step one in, is amazing, but we don’t have one like it to use outside of the landing page.

    That would be awesome! 🙂

    • Thanks for this suggestion, Dean! I’ve added this to my notes, to discuss if we can make all these designs available in Thrive Leads.

  • Hi Shane, I am most interested in the pieces you used in the email promotion of this new plugin. It’s exactly what I’m looking to do for a new offer. How easy would it be to get that from you?

    • Hi Bob,

I’m not sure what exactly you are referring to. We didn’t use any special service or tool for the emails related to this post, but perhaps you mean something else?

  • Shane, of the web sites I follow, your site is one of the most valuable.

Because I appreciate your products and services and your professionalism so much, I hope you will accept this feedback in the spirit in which I send it:

I am afraid that the light, thin font you use on your site is EXTREMELY difficult to read and rapidly causes eye-strain for me.

That means that I cannot read it for very long and have actually been avoiding your site lately, out of frustration.

I hope you will take this into consideration for your fans — like me — who may have some level of visual impairment due to age, injury, or genetics.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

If I didn’t care, I wouldn’t have bothered to sen it.

    Your friend,
    Phil

    • Thank you for your feedback, Phil!

We will take this into consideration when we redesign the site.

    • We have several download page templates that have an easy way to add a secondary promotion.

  • Shane, once again … you folks at Thrive Themes are killing it.
I’m not going to say “keep up the great work” because I have no doubt that you will; but I will say THANK YOU to you and your team. You have a lifelong customer in me and I will continue to sing your praises.

    • We don’t have such a template yet, but it should be pretty simple to pick one of the existing templates and make some modifications to it, to match your needs.

  • I’m getting a “Could not create the templates folder” error when selecting to download one of the Knowhow the cloud theme. Please advise

  • You do a great job with the video tutorials. I have a unique business of helping families. I do an initial consultation in the home and then follow up for about a week on the home followed by weekly or monthly emails until the problem is corrected. Once resolved there is no repeat business except maybe a referral. I’d like to move the home visit to a video conference so I remove the obvious geographic limitations.

    • Thanks for your comment, Richard.

I can only recommend removing leg-work and even in-person work from your business processes. The more bits you can automate, the more scaleable your business becomes.

    • Hi Chris,

This is an outdated feature indeed. In Thrive Architect, there’s no difference between “local” templates and cloud templates. You can access them all from the same interface.

  • When I creat a Post and open by Thrive Architect then the Landing Page Cloud Template not Showing

Only showing in Page not Post

How it will be showing both Page & Post?

    • Hi There,
Landing pages are pages not posts. So you’ll never see the landing page cloud button on a post.
