When you think of a website, you may often think about one that has a bunch of pages and fancy animations all over it.

And you're thinking "Wow, all those pages... Building a website must be complicated..."

There's a much simpler way...

You don't need so many pages. In fact, you can build an awesome website with just one single page!

In this blog post we'll take a look at a few Thrive Architect templates that are specifically made to help you create a stunning one-page website.

A Sneak Peak at the New Templates

Here's a glimpse of the new templates:

Where Can You Find the New Templates

The new templates can be found in the Landing Page library, in Thrive Architect.

To access that, open a page with Thrive Architect and go to Page Setup > Choose Landing Page Template:

In Thrive Architect, select the "Page Setup" option

Then, select "Choose Landing Page Template"

Then, from the Template Library, select the ThriveBiz landing page set and that's where you will find the new templates:

In the Template Library, look for the "ThriveBiz" set

Let's Tweak them a Bit...

You can use these templates regardless if you work in the businesses they're related to or not.

Meaning that, even if you own a car washing business, for example, you would still want to tweak the template a bit before you make your actual website (add information about your business, change a few colors, etc.)

With Thrive Architect, doing all that is like a walk in the park. If you watch the video found at the top of the page, you'll see how easy it is to make changes like this:

Or... Like this:

Your Turn

You saw how easy it is to build a website. You only need one page, that can also be customized very easily.

Go ahead, try out the new templates, and build your stunning website with Thrive Architect, today!

  • Great video and fantastic new templates! Thank you Thrive Team!

Question: is there a way to create a product comparison table (e.g. to compare my product to a competitors with columns and check marks or Xs)?

  • Hi Dave,

Thanks for these amazing templates and explanation 😉 . I am just about to subscribe to Thrive Architect and I am wondering….I have a local business, but I would make several changes on this template:
    – I’d like a several-page website with blog, booking page with pricing tables there, separate video course page(s)
    – adding a video section instead of descriptions, with each video opening on a different page….etc.
Which one would be better for me? Starting from scratch, using these templates or maybe other templates not mentioned in this video?

    • Hello, Gabi! Thanks for your comment 🙂

Well, in Thrive Architect we have an entire Template Library, where you have lots of landing page sets to choose from. Most of the sets include a Homepage, a Sales Page, a Lead Generation Page, and so on. So you can pretty much build your entire website with these templates.

Also, each landing page is fully customizable, with our drag & drop edtior.

I would recommend going for it. If you need help along the way, you can find lots of educational videos on how to build a better website in Thrive University, and also, we as a team will always be here to help 🙂

      • Thanks David! Yes, I know, I’ve watched all your videos already. I have one more question. Now I am working on creating the freebie, videos, blog article…, following your (and others) advice and tips, to have quality material to fill up my website with. I am using Moovly e.g. to edit/animate my videos. It worked perfectly up until the point it turned out that it is not completely compatible with Linux (the clips can’t be saved). Then I asked myself….what if TA is not compatible with Linux?!

      • Yes, I see what you mean.

Here’s the problem with Moovly: Like you said, you had to save the clips on your operating system, and, this is where the problem occurred, because you used Linux.

However, with Thrive Architect, you only work on your browser. Your operating system is not involved in this. So, I am certain that it can work on Linux as well as it does on Windows or Mac OS X 🙂

  • I am just setting up a new website and one-page is a good option for me. So, with this 1 page-website option in mind, what are my steps should be vs those described/demonstrated in you course ”Build a Conversion Focused Website From Scratch”?

I’ve downloaded Rise Theme and I’m at the lesson ”Branding and Customization”.

    • Hi Alla,

If you are using a one-page website you can almost forget entirely about the course. The course will teach you how to set up a website with several pages etc.

I suggest you follow this tutorial and you’ll have your one-page site up and running super quickly!

      • Not sure I totally understand “….The course will teach you how to set up a website with several pages etc.” Seems to be the video is all about 1 page website. How can we add easily several page from these templates? Thanks

  • Awesome! Is there a way to create a menu at the top so that you can click on (for example) Contact Us and the it will take you to that specific part of the page?

  • Nice video.

A small request: can you make your pointer have a distinct yellow (or other) colour halo so it is easier to see where it is when you whip it around clicking on various options.

Not all of us are as versed with the Architect interface as you are, and I for one would appreciate knowing exactly how you create your magic.

    Thanks,

    Trevor

    • Sure, this can be used as a sales page as well, if you customize it and optimize it for that purpose.

However, you can find specific sales page templates in different sets from the Template library. But, again, if you like this particular page, you can use it for that 🙂

  • Thanks David. You make things look so easy. When would or should I use a theme to create similar pages from scratch. Everyone seems to being using the Astra theme for a base theme. Is it necessary

    • Thanks for your comment, Art 🙂

You should use a theme if you want to build certain blog posts, for example.

In this case we have used landing page templates, and they overwrite the theme, so you don’t have to worry about that.

  • When I am running out of ideas, these templetes are where I go. Beautiful job. Something for dance studios? I have the yoga page from you guys, but I would like something new, using the new design tools of thrive Architect. Thank you!

    • We’ll keep that in mind, thanks for the suggestion, Juan!

In the meantime, you can go ahead and experiment with a different template, and change it into a dance studio page by changing the images, applying different colors, etc. 🙂

  • Thank you for these 3 new templates! I use a ONE PAGE template, but I had to add a second page for my blog. Is there a way to add a blog section to these ONE PAGE templates?

    • You can use the default WordPress “blog” page for that and then link it to the main homepage. However, that might a little inconvenient, because of the difficult WordPress settings…

Soon, we’ll launch the Theme Builder, and that will solve this exact problem 🙂

  • Are all the images included in these templates or do we need to buy our own. i loaded the template and noticed non of the images we loaded into my graphics library?

    • Hi Steve,

You can use the images (they are free for commercial use) but they won’t load in the media gallery automatically. You can download an save them manually if you need them on other pages.

  • Its really worth to buy this Thrive theme and Thrive Architect ,I really glad to have this kind of site which really helps me to look best site and speed site,

By the way in Focus blog theme there is one simple problem where i can not easily customize my site,it will show some error please look up.

    Thank You
    Cheers.

    • Hello, Muhammed 🙂

In this case, could you please open a Support request for this issue? Just so that we can have a closer look and fix it as fast as possible.

  • @David Gavrilut and @Hanne, could you please help me figure out how to change the image of the car in the middle section (where there’s 100% clean sign) and what are the dimensions. I don’t see where to click, tried many times. Thank you!

    • To change that image you need to click on the “Column” element in which it is placed, and then go to “Background Style”. There you will see that an image it is applied. Click on it and select another one from your Media Library to change it 🙂

    • Hello there 🙂

In Thrive Architect, if you go on the Landing Pages Library, look for the ThriveBiz set. All the templates in those set are One-Page website templates 🙂

      • they are basically not for a software business.
do you have any template for this.or is there a way we can make such a website ouselves. pls reply asap

  • Thank you for these 3 new templates! I use a ONE PAGE template, but I had to add a second page for my blog. Is there a way to add a blog section to these ONE PAGE templates?
